Creative Challenges
We believe that Team Activities can play an important part in improving teamwork. Our Creative Challenges aim to demonstrate teamwork in a fun, yet practical way.
The Creative Challenges are designed to test many aspects of teamwork, or can be custom designed to focus on a particular area of teamwork eg exploiting diversity. Our Creative Challenges can either be run standalone, or as part of an overall team development programme.
The challenges entail team members working both individually and as a team, and are designed to help team members learn in a creative and fun way.
The Pottery Challenge is a half day activity, available at a location of your choice, where each team member will have the opportunity to use their creativity individually and as a team - designing and making a relevent ceramic masterpiece!
In the process of creating this masterpiece, one or more of the aspects of teamwork will be explored and tested.
The Cookery Challenge can be a half or full day activity, and is available at a range of venues across the UK, from university canteens, to stately homes.
The activity uses food and cookery as a medium to build excellent trust and relationships within the teams. The team is challenged with the planning, preparation and cooking of a culinary delight, which is then shared by all team members.
The event can also be tailored to look at other aspects of teamwork, for example to exploit diversity via exploration of the team's dynamics, using the Myers Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI). The Event is facilitated by Lightbeam (Sue Jennings is a qualified MBTI practitioner) and is attended by a professional chef.
